The Tale of a Long Journey Begins

The journey began over 250 years ago, but telling the story is just beginning. As you can see from the title, this epoch tale surrounds the founding of the ever sought utopia in spiritual Zion. It began in 1756 when my great great great grandparents were born in Germany. At an early age, they migrated to the new world in search of a new life. Their quest for the new world in Zion began as they set sail on the ship Minerva. It was so memorable to them they named one of their children after the vessel that carried them across dangerous waters to taste freedom on American soil. Johann and Sarah began their new lives together shortly after the American Revolution. They arrived just in time to become part of America's own quest for freedom from European control.
